Traditional Thai massage — known in Thailand as Nuad Thai — is a 2,500-year-old therapeutic practice combining acupressure, passive yoga-like stretching and rhythmic compression applied along the body's energy lines (Sen lines). It is performed fully clothed on a floor mat or table, without oil, using the therapist's hands, thumbs, forearms, elbows, knees and feet.
Unlike Western massage styles that focus primarily on muscle tissue, Thai massage works on the body as a whole system — addressing physical tension, energy flow and joint mobility simultaneously. The result is a treatment that is simultaneously more stimulating and more fundamentally restorative than standard relaxation massage.

Thai Massage Techniques
Sustained palm pressure applied along the Sen energy lines of the back, legs and arms. Uses body weight — not arm strength — creating deep, even compression that rocks the body into release.
Precise thumb pressure applied to specific acupressure points — particularly along the spine, shoulder blades and soles of the feet. Targets knot release and blocked energy points.
The therapist positions and moves the client's limbs through a series of assisted yoga-like stretches. Hip openers, spinal twists, hamstring and shoulder stretches — deeper than the client could achieve alone.
